Exploring Creativity Through Faith

I.D.E.A.S. and the E.F.C.A

Although we always want to be clear that EVERYONE is welcome in the Imago Dei Evangelical Arts Society, it is also true that our context and our leadership unashamedly Christian.
I.D.E.A.S. is officially a ministry of Bridgepoint Mission Center. Which is part of a Christian denomination known as the Evangelical Free Church of America.

Our family has been incredibly blessed to be a part of this congregation for over ten years. I love that the EFCA's Statement of Faith truly majors on the majors and allows freedom in the minors. That means the for the first time in most of my adult life, I feel like a finally have a home. I have also been blessed to recently complete a 2 year program of study and equipping through the EFCA called Prepared.

This means that you can have confidence that the Imago Dei Evangelical Arts Society is a community that has a firm foundation in Scripture, a source of accountability, and a heart to love others well.

This does not mean that this ministry is denominationally exclusive. My heart is to see a community that grows and thrives in unity across denominational boundaries.

There was a recent EFCA blog post from a man doing a similar arts ministry in Paris. I found it exciting to read. When The Gospel Meets Art
